     Our kindergarten builds upon the skill areas covered during nursery school. The children continue exploring the world around them with art, music, social studies and science. They also use their premath and prereading skills and learn to use numbers and  how to read as they individually are ready. Their language skills continue to develop and they learn to put their ideas together to form stories. Since the teacher student ratio is 1 to 10 they receive a great deal of attention and are able to develop and grow. This keeps learning exciting for them whether in science experiments, creating dinosaur stories or a Thanksgiving luncheon complete with Indians and Pilgrims. Gaining skills in an environment where there is time for one on one reinforcement and encouragement is an exciting and rewarding place to be. We provide an environment where the teacher has the time to listen to each child express their ideas and grow at their own pace. We provide an environment where it truly is wonderful to be a child.
